WELCOME to the Manitoba Cheer Federation!

 

The Manitoba Cheer Federation, known as the MCF, is a not-for-profit organization, governed by an elected Executive Committee, dedicated to regulating, developing and promoting cheerleading in the province of Manitoba.  The MCF is the official governing body for the sport of cheerleading in Manitoba.

Interest in the sport of cheerleading has never been stronger. Hundreds of athletes in Manitoba enjoy the sport at the school, all star or collegiate level.  Our mission is to provide long term athlete and coach development programs, effective competition structure, judge and coach education programs, cost effective services and ongoing cheerleading support.

The MCF intends to move cheerleading further ahead in Manitoba than ever before and act as a service organization for the entire Manitoba cheerleading community. Cheerleading continues to grow as a world wide sport and the development of the International Cheerleading Union and subsequently world championship team, Team Canada,  has inspired many Canadians to work together for the evolution of cheerleading. The MCF will be a part of that evolution and will be the leader in cheerleading development in the province of Manitoba.

 

Mission Statement

 

Our mission is to provide long term athlete and coach development programs, effective competition structure, judge and coach education programs, cost effective services and ongoing cheerleading support. The Manitoba Cheer Federation will engage coaches, excite athletes and evolve Manitoba.

 

Don't forget to download our Scholarship Application Form! The MCF Athletic Scholarship is $250.00 and any grade 12 student who is applying at a post secondary institution and continuing with cheerleading is eligible. APPLY TODAY!
